ClubZero was founded in May 2003 by Chris Andrews, with a bid to creating a better understanding of occurences that may be deemed to most as Paranormal.
The word "Paranormal" actually means "Above Normal" where hauntings, strange sightings, sounds & anomalies would be potentially deemed under this catagory
After experiencing many strange & unusual encounters from as early as just nine years of age, Chris however found that he had grown up with a unique interest in the paranormal and hoped to the fact he may seek out and analyse answers & theories that may shed light on some of his own personal experiences.
ClubZero operate purely as a non-profit organisation & state that no finacial gain is recieved by ourselves. Our time is given freeley, without predjudice or charge. We pride ourselves on our professional conduct & dedication to this field of study. Our approach is rational, although many within our organisation firmly believe the possibility of the afterlife we maintain a skeptical approach using rational methods to help us prove the true causes of such phenomena. We understand that not all phenomena can easily be justifed and may not prove to be caused by natural sources, such phenomena would therefore warrant further more indepth analysis before being deemed as "Paranormal".
Our Name
The name "ClubZero" was created meaning to accounts, firstly the word"Club", representing a body or community of people attached with similar interests at heart, the second word "Zero" was a description of what lies beyond after passing, the final zero, nothingness to the scientific community. The colours of Black & Yellow also represent 2 factors, firstly Black, representing the unknown factor that we are indeed recognise, not just in paranormal terms but also our own human minds of which 90% still remains undiscovered, thus informing us that we first must grow to understand our own energy from within before we can comprehend the energies of external sources. The yellow was to represent warmth & aid positivity much the same way the sun represents light & aids life of all kinds.
Advancment
The group has since grown to new heights with the help of our dedicated team & members both past & present who have all played a part in our growth. Now our expansion has led to the hosting & conduction of the popular Stockport Ghost Walks in which proceeds are issued to certain chosen causes & charities. We have also gone on to host Hack Green Nuclear Bunker as both paranormal advisors & investigation hosts. Our conduct has seen the group become featured on various tv programmes such as ITV, BBC ,Channel M & Living TV & includes a documentary on ITV's "Into the Unknown" & "The Paranormal Channel" our members database has grown immensley over the last few years.
Our motto "We cannot as yet prove the existence of ghosts, but we can prove the existence of strange phenomena, its determining as to just what that phenomena may be" is a proven concept & has helped investigators adapt new theories & pursuits.
Our Conduct
As investigators, we feel it is injustified to carry out such experiements as The Ouija Board & therefore DO NOT conduct nor condone the use of Ouija, our role also as investigators is the documetation of potential hauntings without interference to any form of energy that may be detected.We DO NOT conduct nor perform spiritual cleansings of any kind, this we believe is not an investigators role & should be passed to one in authority such as a church minister or representative.
Each case we are assigned to is undertaken seriously & with due care and attention. All facts are recorded & taken into account prior to the investigation itself. Strict health & safety guidelines are enforced by us at all events to minimize any unwanted potential risks to both person/s & properties,of which can be viewed at any time by visiting our health & saftey page on the site or requesting a copy at any stage.We are holders of liability insurance to the sum of £5m.
We maintain a high standard of respect for the energies we may or may not encounter along with the venue's we may be fortunate enough to visit, and are proud to the fact that this respect is encouraged within our organisation. Ghost baiting within ClubZero is not an option, it is simply not tolerated, we aid our members to incorporate positivity & aid them with the possibility of reaching new heights & goals within the field of true paranormal investigating.
