Staff at the Grain Store restaurant on Victoria Street have been plagued by strange noises late at night and have had complaints from customers about ghostly experiences in the dining room.
Kitchen pans were moved about and visitors claimed a spirit was living in the toilet.

Ghostly goings on are "mounting" at this Orrell restaurant - The Mount on Orrell Road, the family home of Abraham Guest, who is remembered in the name of a local school, has over the years been host to a variety of businesses, from a nightclub to a Berni Inn.

Secret files on UFO sightings have been made available for the first time by the Ministry of Defence.
