As an investigative organisation, our primary roles are to introduce scientific experiments that may help to shed light on how occurences can be achieved, & how such occurences my be easily mistaken as paranormal

Negative / Positive Test

This test was introduced & conducted by ClubZero during a recent investigation into Poole's Cavern. The aims were to read & register the body temperatures of members who volunteered to take part in this test. Volunteers were taken to the far end of the cavern & amongst the large crystalyne structures of the cavern & were placed into a small group. Each were asked to close their eyes & relax in a bid for each individual to become focused on themselves & not external surroundings. Each was asked to think of the thoughts that annoyed them the most as a form of a negative introductory. Each individuals body temperature was regulary checked along with external emf readings. On completion of this first part of the test, members reported that some of them had experienced voices or sounds which seemed to be emitted from around them, together with the intense feeling that someone or something was present with them. we also found that their body temperatures had risen quite significantly.

Our second part of the test was incorportated, all volunteers were spoken with & introduced into a calming & relaxed atmosphere. Each were asked to create a vision of their warmest thoughts & happiest memories, they were asked to breathe slowly & calmly, again each were monitord intensly. Members then reported that they felt more relaxed & no reports of voices or presences were found.

We found that during the second part of the experiment, their body temperatures had decreased, were as the first half their temperatures had increased. This led us to believe that during the negative half of the experiment, members awareness & body senses were on a higher state of alert, as their temperatures climbed, then so they would feel certain sensations as their skin would be more sensative to the surroundings, this is our bodies natural defenses warning us of danger & fear. Much like when a person angers, their senses & temperatures raise to certain points.

During the positive stage, members body temperatures lowered, their body senses became more relaxed which places the body into "safe mode" thus no paranormal presences or strange sounds were discovered.

This has proven to show that individuals who may experience slight fear during investigations will appear to experience strange & unusual occurences than those who are more relaxed, it only takes this one person to pass these experiences onto others by introducing thought suggestion which in turn would possibly introduce a negative feeling to a normally relaxed or positive person.

We also discovered that conducting this experiment may have left a residual presence caused by the stronger of the 2 emotions...negativity.

A second visit to Pooles Cavern was arranged, we found that one or two members who had not visited previously nor had any knowledge or information regards our previous experiment or where this was conducted, reported a sudden change of atmosphere & that they felt a negative feeling, which made them aware of the surrounds in this area. These members had entered the exact area we had conducted this experiment & we believe they had encountered our own energies from our previous visit, this could of been retained by the caverns large crystal structures. We know that residual energy is not paranormal nor is it created from the spirits of the deceased. Residual is created by the living, an event or emotion which was captured in the atmosphere or enviroment & then replayed over time. For the event or emotion to become recorded, it would of have to of been emitted from a living person.

Other organisations who may visit Pooles Cavern may report the same strange activity in this one certain area, they may or may not believe this to be of a paranormal nature, however, with our explaination of events above, investigators conducting research into paranormal phenoma should take this into account, before proclaiming these occurences as paranormal. Rational explainations can be found if we allow ourselves to search hard enough, although we do understand that not all occurences can be deemed rationally or cannot be as easily explained.

So, this has now lead us to believe & question one more thing, when groups & organisations like ours visit venues that many others have investigated before, and reports of paranormal occurences are often recorded by groups, are we experiencing potential paranormal phenomena, or are we actually experiencing the events or emotions of those who have visited before us & left their own residual residue.....You decide!
